About the opportunity

This position provides L2 support to a variety of clients, ensuring everyday is different, and you have the support
to learn and grow your IT problem solving skills.

As an IT Support Engineer, we are looking for someone who will:

  • Ensure that 25 hours a week are billable.
  • Ensure they respectfully listen to the customer to fully understand all their IT needs.
  • Ensure the client’s timeline expectations are met.
  • Ensure the clients outcome expectations are met.
  • Ensure you can autonomously run your own projects.
  • Ensure you record all the required client information onto the company’s management system.
  • Ensure you are respectful and work with your colleagues in a harmonious and collaborative manner.
  • Ensure you work in alignment with the company values.
  • Ensure you consistently and accurately follow business processes.
  • Ensure you always present yourself professionally for work.
  • Be prepared to undertake a Police Check.
  • Be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.
  • Have two referees who are either business owners or senior managers.
  • Have a reliable vehicle and valid licence (allowance provided).
  • Have a double Covid vaccination.

To be successful you will have:

  • Minimum 1 year in a similar role in a multi-SME space
  • Microsoft cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft Exchange
  • Windows, Windows Server and MacOS
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)
  • Hosted VoIP solutions (3CX, Teams Voice)
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery (Datto, Veeam, StorageCraft)
  • Service desk ticketing systems (AutoTask, Connectwise)
  • PC hardware assembly and troubleshooting
  • Hybrid role working from home, office and onsite (Perth metro)
  • Providing L2 or above support services to SME’s
  • Installation and support of end user hardware
  • Proactive server/network maintenance and documentation
  • Licensing and user management
  • Worked with an IT team to roll out of new IT solutions
