PURCHASING OFFICER ROLE

LOCATION : Albany & Great Southern
SALARY : $65,000 – $79,999 | FULL TIME

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing goods and materials from global supplier network.
  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with stock levels and forecasting software.
  • Receipt stock into Computer based inventory system.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and communicating delays/updates to appropriate departments.
  • Forecast and plan purchase orders in agreed quantities and timelines
  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Hands on experience of working with ERP systems, including materials Forecasting
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Knowledge of vendor sourcing & supply chain processes/procedures
  • Experience in a mechanical environment preferred
