About the opportunity
As a key member of the management team, this newly created position, will manage the installation of air conditioning units.
The career progression is from supervisor to manager and then operations manager.
As the Air Conditioning Supervisor, we are looking for someone who will:
- Ensure jobs are well organised and planned (Optimum utilisation of resources)
- Ensure the resources, IE: parts and equipment are available to undertake the work as per the schedule
- Ensure jobs are completed on budget
- Ensure jobs are completed on time
- Ensure jobs are completed to the required standards
- Ensure jobs are completed so they meet the clients’ expectations
- Ensure you calmly assist your team to achieve their individual goals
- Ensure you report all incidents and investigate accidents
To be successful you will have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in the Air-conditioning and Refrigeration industry
- At least 2 – 5 years of domestic Air conditioning installation experience
- An understanding of Ducted systems, Wall splits and Cassettes
- A construction White card
- A double Covid 19 vaccination
- The commitment to go through our diligent selection process
- The commitment to obtain a Police Clearance
- The commitment to undertake a Pre-employment Medical
- Two referees who are business owners or senior managers
Desirable
- An Airconditioning and Refrigeration certificate
- An understanding of air movement grille selection and duct design
- A work at heights card
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Air-conditioning and Refrigeration experience to get off the tools and to use their skills to help the next generation of trades grow and develop.
